G-RISE Benefits
What are the benefits of being in the G-RISE program?
G-RISE trainees are eligible for:
A 12-month stipend at the NIH funding level ($28,224/yr). The stipend may be renewable up to 3 years;
A tuition waiver;
A portion of their fees and out-of-pocket health insurance costs will be covered;
Travel support ($1,000/yr);
Reimbursement for childcare costs ($2,500/yr)
Career development opportunities; and
Membership in an NIH-supported biomedical training cohort
