NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program

The Graduate College is looking for students interested in the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program. This competitive program provides $138,000 in Federal Support for graduate education and is open to undergraduates nearing graduation, as well as PhD students within their first three semesters who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents.

The Department of Energy Science Graduate Student Research Program Applications

The Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Science is now taking applications for the 2018 Solicitation 2 of the Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) program. Applications are due by 5 p.m. EST on November 15.

Virginia Tech Future Faculty Program Application

Virginia Tech University is now accepting applications for its Future Faculty Development Program. This intensive two-day program is for doctoral and post-doctoral scholars traditionally underrepresented in their fields who are interested in entering academic careers in the next year.

Application deadline for November 18 program: September 20.
